2. What is "Cloud Cloning"?
"Cloud Cloning" is FluidCloud’s signature capability— automatically replicating your infrastructure stack (compute, networking, storage, IAM, policies, databases, etc.) into a cloud‑agnostic, IaC‑based format. This allows you to redeploy or migrate full environments into different cloud platforms in minutes.
3. Where is FluidCloud used?

4. I already use Terraform. Why would I need FluidCloud?
FluidCloud enhances Terraform’s IaC tooling by automating reverse-engineering of live environments and translating them into a universal intermediate representation. This enables true portability across cloud providers and eliminates manual redefinition of infrastructure.
5. I already use Pulumi, Ansible, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates. Why would I need FluidCloud?
FluidCloud is complementary to whatever infrastructure automation tools you are already using. . FluidCloud automates full-stack cloning and conversion, eliminating manual nuances and ensuring high-fidelity, cross-cloud portability with zero scripting required.
6: How does FluidCloud relate to Kubernetes?
FluidCloud itself does not directly manage Kubernetes cluster workloads—it focuses on cloning, migrating, and governing the underlying infrastructure across multiple clouds including the Kubernetes cluster configuration done at the cloud provider layer. FluidCloud greatly benefits Kubernetes users by enabling seamless portability and resilience for the cloud infrastructure that hosts Kubernetes clusters.
That said, FluidCloud should not be confused with Fluid, the CNCF project, which is a Kubernetes-native distributed dataset orchestrator aimed at accelerating storage and data access within Kubernetes.
6. How long does migration take with FluidCloud? What else will I need to do?
FluidCloud shrinks daunting, months-long migrations into minutes or days with its one-click Cloud Cloning™ and AI automation. Cloud migrations often have three separate layers: infrastructure, data, and applications. FluidCloud focuses primarily on the infrastructure layer. After cloning your infrastructure with FluidCloud, you now have a cloud landing zone that is ready for your application data – typically in storage volumes, object storage, and database backups. Once your data is ready in your destination cloud, then you set up the application layer. Now the application is ready to be validated and you can optionally decommission the old environment.
7. Is FluidCloud suitable for businesses of all sizes?
FluidCloud begins providing value to cloud accounts even with a relatively small number of cloud resources by providing visibility, ongoing backups, cost, and compliance findings automatically without any user action required.
